The Beginning

Dale and I became friends in 2007, though we had met before and carpooled to Utah once in late 2005. At that time we weren't interested in each other. : ) We dated April-May 2007 which didn't end up working out very well. We stayed friends through Dale dating a million other girls (okay just a few).  I got tired of watching him date girls I knew wouldn't be the one. I decided to have an adventure and move to Salt Lake City, Utah in January of 2009. Dale and I talked a lot on the phone and I gave him 

dating advice on his current heart throb.
Then Dale decided he actually wanted to be dating ME! He came out to see me in April 2009 and we started dating long distance. After a lot of plane tickets over the next few weeks, Dale proposed surprisingly and unexpected on memorial weekend 2009. He then convinced me to quit my new job and move back to Colorado Springs, CO to be with him. I was slightly reluctant to give up my new fun life, but love overtook me and I gave in! I moved back the end of May.

I made Dale go all the way to Rexburg, ID to get our engagement pictures taken by my amazingly talented friend Jackie Davis : )

We were so excited about starting our lives together that we started a bit early and got a puppy shih-tzu as a free early wedding gift from one of Dale's dad's co-workers about a month before we got married.

August 14, 2009

The start of a Happily Ever After for all Eternity

And thus started the Dale and Stephanie Warner Family
